Innovative temporary shops in the Boulingrins Gardens

In 2014, temporary shops will open in the Boulingrins Gardens, offering a new shopping experience!

Jardins des boulingrins

In order to find a more attractive setting for the shops of the Sporting d’Hiver and the avenue des Beaux-Arts during renovation work on the Sporting d’Hiver and the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the Société des Bains de Mer has decided to set up temporary shops in the Boulingrins Gardens. This decision reflects the various discussions and exchanges held with the main shops.

Instead of classic pavilions placed around a linear walkway, the new project consists of buildings with round shapes placed around an alleyway that winds through the trees and the Boulingrins Gardens.

The customer’s itinerary carefully takes into account easy access to shops and customer traffic in order to make the shopping experience more pleasant and in harmony with the surroundings.

Each building will have a unique shape that fits the garden’s curves and is suited to the shops’ needs, offering more flexibility and modularity.

These amazingly innovative structures enhance the attractiveness of this new shopping area in the very heart of Monte-Carlo.

These temporary shops will be set up during the first semester of 2014 for a 4-year period. The start of work on the Sporting d’Hiver and the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo will thus be delayed by a few months with regard to the initial schedule.

The project was developed by the architect Richard Martinet.
